Description
Movable enclosure is a sturdy, but mobile facility for the protection of livestock during the night, bad weather or other dangerous period. A cattle-shed is always near home while the location of movable enclosure may be changed when animals are relocated to other pastures. The construction of movable enclosure might be various – it may be a solid fence, a small cattle-shed, etc.
Suitability
Movable enclosure is suitable for every farm. It might be a cheaper alternative to the appropriate protection of the whole pasture. Most suitable for small farms where the herd is pastured further from home and is relocated several times during a season.
Effectiveness 
Correctly installed movable enclosure is a reliable protection measure, with a necessary condition that livestock are kept in the enclosure during the night, bad weather or other dangerous period. The enclosure must be sturdy and high (if there is no roof) so that wolves could not get in and the livestock could not break out.
Price 
The measure is not cheap, but may be considerably cheaper than the appropriate protection of the whole pasture.
Maintenance
The main maintenance duty is to bring livestock inside for the night and let them out in the morning. A constant human attention or special equipment is needed.
